So My Very First Blog Post

So Merry Christmas to you all, it’s boxing day! I’ve finished a nice 6 hour shift at work with 2 of my favourite girls on the team, come home to have a nice relaxing soak in the bath and now sat watching the tv, I’ve thought to myself ‘I wonder what one has to do to start blogging’. So, after a short amount of straightforward research, I’ve got myself going on what is now my new favourite thing – WordPress. It’s true what they say, it really is fabulous isn’t it? Now I have seen a few great blogs before and in no way whatsoever am I trying to play the game where if someone has been to Tenerife, I’ve been to Elevenerife – in other words, I don’t want to try and be like the great bloggers that I know are out there. It’s just a place where I can write and share my thoughts with you all and if you like them, great! If you don’t, then that’s okay too!                                                                                      *insert that thing they say about Marmite*.

The reason why I want to do this is purely because I find writing very therapeutic and I know a good handful of you will be able to relate to some ideas that I have in my head to write about.

I’m 19, I’ve got an a-level in Photography and a Double BTEC award for Health and Social Care Level 3. I got my C grade in English through the godsend that was an iGCSE, which basically just involved 3 pieces of the-best-I-could-do coursework. Otherwise I would never have got a C grade if it was just the standard exam and what not. The reason why I’m saying this is because in no way am I dramatically talented nor skilled in writing novels or anything. I just want to write my own things and share them with you all.

So thank you for reading my first ever post. Here’s to many more. You can’t see me but I did raise my nearly empty wine glass at my laptop screen just as I was typing ‘here’s to many more’.

All my love.
